Sumario:Strategic planning is an ongoing process, based on the internal and external reality of the organization. Thus, it is fundamental to elaborate actions that allow its development in the future. In this case, it was studied a Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences of a private university located in Arequipa (Peru). For this, institutional documents were analyzed, as well as interviews and surveys. From them, seven matrices of wide use were adopted that helped to formulate a final decision matrix. Therefore, it became possible to implement strategic attraction and maintenance students with excellent levels of academic training.
