| Sumario: | In the article we analyze the behavior of the British parties in the foreign policy votes of the legislature prior to the approval of the Brexit referendum. Through a general linear model, we show that voting on issues related to the European Union has a low propensity for divergence, while news of voting, unemployment and the relevance of immigration to public opinion positively affect the degree of divergence between the British political parties. |
