Sumario:The human comfort is longed incessantly. That, is linked to the shelter, protection against the intemperies and climate severity, always for well-being purposes the human comfort can be analysed by several optics. This work dedicates itself, specifically, to study the comfort under the thermal aspects, not only as a salutary requisite of architecture, but also the valuable quality regarding to the habitation, considering your influence in respect to the energy efficiency. The study developed in this research focused the analysis of a residential multifamiliar building in the residential quarter of Ponta Verde, in the city of Maceio-AL, which suffers constant transformation, new buildings arise at every moment in places that were no longer occupied by unifamiliar residences. These buildings, seems, that are projected and built without themal comfort and energy consumption preocupations, and, consequently, it reflexes to the human being and the environment. The analysis has been effectuated qualitative and quantitatively based theoretical references pertinent to the climatic, humans and architectonics variables, searching fundamental in bioclimatic architecture approach, your strategies and influences in the sustainability and energy consumption. It was evidenced that the apartments oriented in the east presented a better performance that the west ones in relation of thermal comfort, and, consequently of energy efficiency. Certainly, doubt, the world today lives a critic moment in respect to the energy crisis. It is perceived that the architecture can be used in a favourable way at this question. Therefore, is imperative to build new paradigms, capables to harmonize built environment and nature, in favour of a sustainable future.
