Descripción
Sumario:Fascism studies have been recognizing that there is the veracity of populist ultranationalism movements didn't exist only in nations like German (Nazism) and Italy (Fascism) but also in other places around the world, including Brazil. The Integralist movement, known as Ação Integralista Brasileira (AIB), took place in 1932 under the leadership of Plinio Salgado and had fascist expressions in its ideological and political organizations. As fascism it is originally founded through diversities and regionals particularities, in the Brazilian case, it showed clearly in the way that inserted women's role in the movement's ranks, not just as bystanders - which was noticeable in the other fascist movements, but as activists. Therefore, this work aimed to debate ways of woman's actions on fascist movements, stemming from the analytics categories of gender and political emotions, which allows a different view 1930's social and political context. Thus, we used the newspaper A Offensiva (1936), Plinio Salgados's writing, and bibliographies regarding woman's involvement in different fascist movements.
