| Sumario: | Norberto Bobbio studied democracy in his vast academic production. Deceased in 2004, his ideas is still very relevant in the current jusphilosophical scenario, because his avant-garde vision has been able to anticipate technological changes, because of his intimate dialogue with contemporary thinkers who analyze the new information age, network society, web 2.0, Cyberdemocracy and Its impact on democratic regimes and on the political relations of what he called the future democracy. Making a counterpoint of his work with Castells, Lévy, Beck among others, we perceive the timelessness and versatility of his poignant thought. His analysis of the rapprochement of the model of representative democracy to the Athenian model of democracy, brought about the information age, allows citizens to participate more and more actively in the decision making processes, typical of democratic regimes. His invaluable contribution in the most diverse areas of political and juridical knowledge, allows us to believe that unlike so many other contemporary thinkers whose predictions have proved unfounded speculations, Bobbio’s contributions could not be more assertive today. |
