Resumo:This study is a qualitative research of descriptive character to analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of the results obtained by students in the teaching and learning in education distance mode having two models, a first model, considered typical, the teacher acts in separate roles, only as author and / or guardian, in the second model the teacher acts as author and tutor simultaneously. Data were collected through a questionnaire, answered by teachers who work in higher education, education of the distance mode, in both models. The proposed study provided the opportunity to register the professional experience gained in performances and can in future contribute to the implementation of other initiatives that use virtual learning environments using the models presented.
