| Sumario: | This article gives rise to a reflection on possible meanings concerning the production of theoretical knowledge in the context of oral history from some works produced by the oralists Alessandro Portelli and José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy. It is intended to discuss some differences and approximations from the comparison between texts that reflect on the relationship between history and memory. The objective is, therefore, to present and debate the contribution of each author to the elaboration of a hypothesis that defends the importance of both in the elaboration of a theoretical framework focused on the problematization of narrative memory and its relations with the production of identities, called here: theory of knowledge in oral history. The article aims, finally, to understand through some chosen texts how narrative memory is worked by the authors cited as a documentary source. |
