Descrição
Resumo:The article seeks to reconstruct the itinerary of importation of ideas and concepts of space and spatialities from modern geography into the Annales, specifically, the convergences made by the first and second generations of the French historiographical current with the geographies of Paul Vidal de La Blache and Friedrich Ratzel. The proposal analyzes simultaneously and through the approach of the theory of history the two main prohibitions that these notions and concepts of space and spatialities entail: a) naturalization; and, b) fragmentation. And, furthermore, it observes the impacts and limits of maintaining these theoretical instruments for the historian's craft in the 21st century.
