Descrição
Resumo:In this article we discuss the processes of constitution of memories and their relations based on dimensions of gender and sexuality in the bodies exposed in pornography. For this, we perform two reflection movements that are anchored in debates by decolonial and queer studies, tensioning them in the field of communication knowledge: (i) the processes of constitution of gender and memory; (ii) the entanglement of pornography in Brazil based on data from the Pornhub platform. We realize, in general, that pornography is part of the fabric of memories related to representations and crystallized meanings about gender, sexuality, race and other intersectional markers. Considering the data show that in Brazil, specifically predominate searches by categories assigned to women, we identified a series of problems such as violence and fetishisation bodies.
