Sumario:Introduction to the dossier Bourdieu in perspective: difference, distinction and inequality in the 21st century. A decade after the last dossier in Temáticas (2013) dedicated to Pierre Bourdieu, organized by Sabrina Feldman Marzochi and Fabiane Cancian - which appeared at a unique moment of intellectual and critical revival and of (re)translations or re-editions of Bourdieusian work in the country - our aim with this issue is to propose a new reading of the academic production of this period. We bring together works by national and international researchers whose contributions seek to problematize and broaden the more traditional conceptions and research methodologies in the Bourdieusian field. In these writings it is possible to see that the categories of difference, inequality and distinction that structure the theory developed by Bourdieu and are lenses for understanding new phenomena and dynamics, change and gain new contours, moving our science forward.
