Sumario:Theoretical discussion and also empirical analysis about interactive features or “direct communication” in online enviroments are of extreme importance in online political campaigning literature. Twittter has been one or the main social media used by these political leaders, such as Donald Trump, Viktor Orban, Recep Erdogan and Jair Bolsonaro. This paper focus on the Brazilian case and aims at verify if and how the actual president of Brazil used Twitter to genuinely interact directly to Brazilian citizens during the electral period.
