| Sumario: | This interview with José Luis García Rúa is part of a series of seventy interviews with anarchists who lived through the Civil War in Spain. They were carried out and recorded between 1989 and 1991 in various cities in Spain. So far, none have been published. I was lucky to have excellent communication with the interviewees; they had excellent memories and spoke at length about their war and post-war experiences. Of course, we also address other contextual issues. I was especially interested in knowing what was the path that led them to anarchist ideology, what was their interpretation of anarchism and what they thought about the present and future of libertarian ideas. |
