description This article talks about the means of control exercised through the use of digital communication technologies. The research was based on the thinking of the South Korean philosopher Byung-Chul Han, exposed mainly in the following books: In the swarm: perspectives of the digital, Society of Transparency and Psychopolitics - Neoliberalism and the new techniques of power. The analysis that said thinker made about the technical means available to today's society points that digital interactivity tools work in at least two ways: attracting individuals to the continuous presence and participation in the virtual space and influencing the users' subjectivity. According to the author, the continuous presence in the virtual space alters the intersubjective experience of people, resulting in the formation of profiles and behavioral tendencies that reinforce subjection and prevent resistance. This is the basic scheme of a new form of domination of man in technological civilization, a form that Byung-Chul Han calls psychopolitics.

A pesquisa tomou por base o pensamento do filósofo sul-coreano Byung-Chul Han exposto principalmente nas seguintes obras: No enxame: perspectivas do digital, Sociedade da Transparência e Psicopolítica – O neoliberalismo e as novas técnicas de poder. A análise que o referido pensador realiza acerca dos meios técnicos, dos quais a sociedade atual dispõe, aponta para o fato de que as ferramentas digitais de interatividade atuam pelo menos de duas formas: atraindo os indivíduos para a contínua presença e participação no ambiente virtual e influenciando na produção de subjetividade dos usuários. Segundo o autor, a presença contínua no ambiente virtual modifica a experiência intersubjetiva das pessoas implicando na formação de perfis e tendências comportamentais que reforçam a sujeição e impedem a resistência.
