| Sumario: | In this article, I propose a journey through different written and imagery materials produced between 2012 and 2017 that focused on accessibility for people with intellectual disabilities and that were carried out, for the most part, with people with intellectual disabilities as authors or part of the editing team. All pieces were produced by Associação Carpe Diem or by Movimento Down, sometimes in partnership with other organizations. In these trails, particular attention is paid to the enunciative spaces occupied by persons with intellectual disabilities and the changes and interventions in the discursive register operated by accessibility practices. These materials combine the production of an enunciative place for the subject with the construction of accessibility resources as a demand for justice and social participation. In this effort, I try to emphasize accessibility as a practice, and a transformative practice, which both operates on the materiality of the world and the qualities of relationships, and produces the very political subject that elaborates and claims it. |
