Sumario:The study now proposed seeks to reflect on the diversity and construction of the child's identity in the daily life of early childhood education, based initially on bibliographic research in LDB/1996, Paiva, Nunes, and Deus (2010), Amaral (2015) and later on the results the execution of a workshop with students from the Faculty of Education of Crateús. Based on the dialogues established with the authors and reflections built with the academics participating in the aforementioned workshop, it was possible to conclude Early Childhood Education presents the integral development of the child as a purpose, in this sense it has an important role in the construction of the child's identity his self-knowledge as a social subject so that he develops the skills to learn, be and live with others; although it is in the family group where the child finds his first identification models, it is the role of the school to also offer opportunities for coexistence for the social learning of the child and for constituting his person.
