| Sumario: | This paper aims to report the issue of the risk of extinction of one of the indigenous languages of our state of Mato Grosso do Sul to Guató language. Furthermore, factors related to ethnicity Guató as the origin, history and customs will be listed in the job. We know that the language of a community is part of their culture and traditions, and that loss of this tradition means that the external elements that community begin to be dominant and new generations end up not knowing anything concerning their roots, so then it is important preserve the native language of the indigenous communities. |
