Descripción
Sumario:This paper analyzes the image of Christ in the Protestant Christology, in order to show its theological deficiency while compared to the Christological debates in Latin America. As Latin America Protestantism [Brazilian, especially] has its theological roots in the Protestant Mission, the Protestant Christology did not follow the debate and the development of the main questions of the Latin-American Christology, becoming an apathetic Christology in a social way, and a transcendent Christology in a theological way. This paper proposes to dialogue with Jon Sobrino's Christology, seeking for hermeneutical aspects for a reformulation of the Protestant Christology.
