| Resumo: | RESUMO: Neste artigo, investigaremos a manifestação mítica operada pelo silêncio na obra poética de Teixeira de Pascoaes. Sendo a questão do silêncio uma problemática fundamental em sua obra e em seu pensamento, pelos diversos contornos que o tema propõe, o nosso objetivo será o de interpretar este silêncio como uma linguagem que se emparceira da linguagem mítica. A partir de um trânsito entre mito, poesia e silêncio, apoiar-nos-emos em uma sólida teoria do mito dentro do pensamento filosófico português para assim fundamentarmos o que aqui chamaremos de “silêncio primordial”. Para nós, este silêncio carrega um sentimento mítico, o que justifica o nosso interesse de interpretá-lo como “expressão mítica”. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Mito. Poesia. Silêncio. Filosofia. Linguagem. ABSTRACT: In this article, we will investigate the mythical manifestation operated by silence in the work of Teixeira de Pascoaes. Being the question of silence a fundamental problem in his work and in his thought, for the various contours that the theme proposes, our goal will be to interpret this silence as a language that is paired with mythical language. Based on a transit between myth, poetry and silence, we will rely on a solid theory of myth within Portuguese philosophical thought to ground what we will call here “primordial silence”.
