Descripción
Sumario:Due to the widespread use of language in mathematical education studies, both as learningand research methodologies, this work focuses mainly on the latter, covering theoretically the languageissue as an investigation tool for research in this field. . The aim is to go deeper into this discussionfollowing two ways. The first one intends to present a comprehension of language use diffusion as thecore in research methodologies through a philosophical discussion based on Wittgenstein´s philosophy, accepted as a reference in the ‘Language turn’ in which language plays a central role in philosophicalresearch. The second way seeks to clarify central aspects from different discourse positions that havebeen used as research theoretical basis, such as those associated to acknowledged authors Bakhtin andFoucault. In this way a theoretical reference is formed that takes language as a research guideline inwhich the mail goal does not consist in solving problems or finding solutions, but in discussing valuesand ideologies that underlie language practices established as research objects.
