| Resumo: | This text is a literature review that aims to examine nurses’ scientific academic papers on medication errors, carried out by a multidisciplinary team. The publications were indexed in Scielo and Lilacs virtual libraries between 2003 and 2008, in Nursing and COREN Journals. The sample consisted of 17 publications, which were analyzed with regard to error factors and ways of avoiding them. The main factors were related to prescription medication, professionals, the procedure of administration, the pharmacy, communication between the team and working hours. |
