| Resumo: | This article is an empirical research and proposes to examine the determinants of economic growth of municipalities’ cearenses during 2000 to 2004. And for this, makes use of a function of the type of production neoclassical Cobb-Douglas recital as inputs, the stock of physical and human capital, and also, incorporates a parameter to measure the impact of local infrastructure in the municipal economic growth. The results from the model with panel data, estimated by Fixed Effects and correction of Heteroscedasticity, suggest the stock of human capital as the main determinant of economic growth of municipalities’ cearenses. And yet, those municipalities that have a better basic infrastructure present a greater potential for economic growth. |
