| Sumario: | The article analyzes the importance for Nietzsche and Kafka of punishment, of inflicting pain, for the effectiveness of the authority of moral codes in history. Moreover, it seeks to add to this reflection, from the philosophy of the first and the literature of the second, an analysis of the spectacularization of pain in the historical constitution of cultures and shed light on the foundation of an aesthetic of the phenomenon of suffering and death, from the overcoming of their traditional ethical and religious configurations. |
