Sumario:This paper presents a theoretical-conceptual approach relating to Diplomatic Typological Analysis and Archival. Exposes conceptual and diplomatic contributions to the development of methodology focused on typological analysis of archival documentation. Considered as a source of information texts from domestic and foreign literature, including journal articles, books, theses and conference proceedings. Presents the relationship between Archiving and Diplomatic, including conceptual developments and the process of identification document in. Discussed the principles of archival, relating them to the process of typological analysis of files and applications and typological analysis models. Finally considers that, based on the methodology of Contemporary Diplomatic or Document Type, it is possible to build a consistent language, and specific needs for the production of typological indices, allowing them to be used as a tool for information retrieval in permanent archives.
