| Sumario: | The present text is the result of a course conclusion work of the Degree in Geography at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS/CG), carried out in 2021 and which aimed to discuss the potential and propose alliances between Geography and queer theories, specifically themes of gender and sexuality, regarding the training of teachers/researchers in Geography. The research, of a qualitative-exploratory nature, had the participation of 20 students from the 3rd and 4th year classes of the Bachelor and Licentiate in Geography courses at UEMS/CG. Among the results, it was observed that the students of the Bachelor's course have difficulties in pointing out subjects that can incorporate queer themes, while the students of the Licentiate course, value more the pedagogical disciplines of the specific training nucleus. In view of this, a curriculum that is based on Queer Geography, can contribute positively to the construction of a plural geographic knowledge and doing. |
