Sumario:This paper aims to promote some thoughts about the reorganization of personal pronouns  in Brazilian Portuguese, especially considering the variable first person plural (subject pronoun), with the variants nós and a gente. We started the study making some considerations about the description of the personal pronouns made by Rocha Lima (2003) to identify the orientations of Normative Grammar about this grammar item. Then we draw a brief overview of current Brazilian pronoun framework, anchored mainly in Castilho (2010) and Neves (2011). Finally we propose a didactic alternative to teach the first person plural variant, as current trends of our Portuguese.
