Sumario:The growth of cities must be understood by the processes and agents that produce space in time. Understanding that the changes in the spatial organization of the city of Goiânia result from the discontinuity of the territory, and new demands arise beyond, new centralities are created: spaces with their own uses and dynamics altering the urban morphology. Thus, it is proposed to reflect on the effects of these centralities resulting from urban expansion, in Goiânia, Campinas and Belo Horizonte, establishing similarities, and analyzing the morphology that is altered by the new patterns of occupation that fragments and concentrates at the same time. Therefore, an analysis is made of the bibliographic survey, context of occupation, socio-spatial analysis of expansion and centralities. Therefore, proceeds to the analysis of Park Lozandes, in Goiânia, which has been configured as a new centrality, as it centralizes specific activities of the public administration and vertical and mixed buildings, raised by proximity of Jardim Goiás, gated Community and the public administration itself, shaping the occupation of the neighborhood by new occupation demands. Therefore, it is concluded that the neighborhood is configured as a new centrality in formation, causing a new pattern of spatial consumption, which changes the use value of the surroundings, originating new centers with peculiar functions in areas beyond the traditional centers.
