Descripción
Sumario:The aim of this dissertation is to analyse how the evolution of Rawls's thinking between his two main works – A Theory of Justice (1971) and Political Liberalism (1993) – allow him to respond to the main criticisms of the communitarian authors to his liberalism, especially those of Michael Sandel. We will focus on the two main themes addressed by Sandel in his critique of Rawls: neutrality of the state and the unencumbered self.
