Sumario:The digital TV system, implemented in Brazil, provides for the transmission of high definition images, mobility, portability and interactivity. The expectation is that the content broadcast on television today can not only be received in devices such as laptops, tablets and phones, but also be supplemented or even reinvented. The objective of this paper is to discuss the expectations of changes in the production of audiovisual journalism and the challenges of convergence and crossmedia and phenomena such as transmedia, studied, by Jenkins (2009), by Cannito (2010) among others.
