| Sumario: | The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how collaboration between actors in the innovation ecosystem is related to the transfer of knowledge between institutions. Therefore, the theory of knowledge management is used as a theoretical framework, aggregating the helix models (triple, quadruple and quintuple) and the concepts of innovation ecosystem. The study units are the innovation hubs of the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia, accredited by Embrapii. The methodological approach of the research is qualitative, the method used is the multiple case study, the data collection performed through semi-structured recovery with representatives from academia, company, government and society, the results obtained with the content analysis. Typifying each segment investigated in this research, the academy was represented by the managers of the innovation hubs, the company, by owners of companies with projects carried out with the hubs, in addition to representatives of the government and society. The managerial contribution of the study is the identification of key aspects to improve the collaborative relationship between the actors of the innovation and knowledge transfer ecosystem. The social contribution consists of the possibility of expanding collaboration and transferring knowledge, by enhancing the facilitating factors and minimizing the difficulties identified in the researched innovation ecosystems. The theoretical contribution is the proposition of an integrated analytical model of collaborative relations and knowledge transfer between members of the innovation ecosystem. The main results reveal that the collaboration between the actors is related to the transfer of knowledge through the creation and expansion of the established partnerships and the management of the facilitators and difficult of this relationship. The following facilitating factors were identified: the workforce and the qualified, the credibility of the Institutos Federais, access to supporters (incubators, investors, etc.), and the geographical proximity to graduate programs. On the other hand, the main obstacles encountered were: the failures in the communication processes, the lack of business management, the bureaucracy, the ideological issues involved in the university-industry relationship and the lack of financial resources. |
