Evaluation of distribution uniformity of retractable sprinklers in garden irrigation

This work presents the evaluation of the uniformity of water application for PGJ sprinklers concealable model 04 - 10 cm (threaded ½’’, distance of 11.6 m, flow of 1.23 m3 h-1 and arc set to 180º), used to irrigate the gardens at IFES campus Alegre, Espírito Santo. Were monitored climatic factors an...

Sumario:This work presents the evaluation of the uniformity of water application for PGJ sprinklers concealable model 04 - 10 cm (threaded ½’’, distance of 11.6 m, flow of 1.23 m3 h-1 and arc set to 180º), used to irrigate the gardens at IFES campus Alegre, Espírito Santo. Were monitored climatic factors and the relationship of applied water levels, the working pressure, the CUC and UDC coefficients. Results indicated blade average of 6.42 mm h-1, CUC 99.66% and 85.04% of CUD water when operating pressure equal to 3.92 bar was used.
