Descrição
Resumo:It were studied 60 hearts of crossbreed pigs to observe the frequency, width and localization of the myocardial bridges on the coronary arteries. The hearts had their coronary arteries injected with colored solution of Neoprene latex - 450 - and were fixed in formalin solution to posterior dissection. The results permited the following conclusions: -myocardial bridges occured in 36.36% of the examined hearts in number between one and three in the same hearts and it had been found a total number of 32 bridges: -the myocardial bridges width varied from 0.2 cm to 1.9 cm with an average of 0.75 cm: -myocardial bridges are more frequent in the medium (36.66%), dorsal (31.25%) and ventral (31.25%) portions of the studied hearts; -myocardial bridges occur predominantly on the right coronary artery branches (65.62%) than on the left coronary artery branches (34.37%).
