Semantic reflexes in the syntax of third person

Assuming that pronouns are elements capable of structural decomposition by grammatical atomic components, namely features, it is understood that their syntactic distribution is done by means of feature hierarchy of such features in these nominals (see HARLEY; RITTER, 2002; BEJÁR, 2003; CARVALHO, 200...

Resumo:Assuming that pronouns are elements capable of structural decomposition by grammatical atomic components, namely features, it is understood that their syntactic distribution is done by means of feature hierarchy of such features in these nominals (see HARLEY; RITTER, 2002; BEJÁR, 2003; CARVALHO, 2008). Thus, this paper aims to identify the path to the feature composition of the third person pronoun in the accusative position in Brazilian Portuguese, and to verify the relevance of the features [Definite], [Specific] and [Animate].
