description Maps are the main methodological tools in teaching Geography. Understanding how they are constructed and analyzing them are some of the goals in the teaching of Geography. For students, understanding the planification of the globe from the cartographic projections is one of the most complex concepts to be understood. Based on this difficulty, the teacher needs to have a sensitive pedagogical attitude, helping students to develop the skills to understand this content. Thus, the objective of this experience report is to analyze the application of a workshop of construction of the polyhedron globe, with the help of materials from IBGE Educa showing students how the "spherical" globe is "planned" on maps, understanding the phases of the cartographic literacy process and the understanding of cartography as a language, which also helps in geographic literacy, assisting in reading the world in Geography classes.

Comprender cómo se construyen y analizarlas son algunos de los objetivos de la enseñanza de la Geografía. Para los estudiantes la comprensión de la planificación del globo, a partir de las proyecciones cartográficas es uno de los conceptos más complejos de entender. A partir de esta dificultad el profesor necesita tener una postura pedagógica sensible, ayudando a los alumnos a desarrollar las habilidades para comprender este contenido. Así, el objetivo de este informe de experiencia es analizar la aplicación de un taller de construcción del globo poliedro, con la ayuda de materiales del IBGE Educa mostrando a los estudiantes cómo el globo "esférico" se "planifica" en los mapas, la comprensión de las etapas del proceso de alfabetización cartográfica y la comprensión de la cartografía con un lenguaje, que también ayuda en la alfabetización geográfica, ayudando en la lectura del mundo en las clases de geografía.Os mapas são os principais instrumentos metodológicos no ensino de Geografia. Compreender como são construídos e analisá-los, são alguns dos objetivos no ensino de Geografia. Para os estudantes a compreensão da planificação do globo terrestre, a partir das projeções cartográficas é um dos conceitos mais complexos para serem compreendidos. A partir desta dificuldade o professor necessita ter uma sensível postura pedagógica, auxiliando os estudantes a desenvolverem as habilidades de compreensão deste conteúdo.
