Summary:Objectives: The present study has for objective to verify her influences of the training resisted in the reduction of the percentile of fat, basal metabolism and index of corporal mass. Methods: Through of the before and after-test application, as well as to observe and correlate the characteristics of the apprentices’ of this modality training with the results obtained with eight weeks of resisted training. The research used a sample composed by 27 women with age between 18 and 30 years, apprentices of resisted training. Results and conclusions: With base in the results observed in the results observed in the research, it can be affirmed that the resisted training of eight weeks, elaborated appropriately is efficient in the reduction of corporal fat, however, without presenting significant influence in the increase of exempt mass of fat and basal metabolism.
