Descripción
Sumario:This study presents partial results of a geoprosodic mapping of the Portuguese variety spoken in São Luís and is part of the actions of the AMPER Amazônia project. In order to obtain an acoustic analysis, in order to obtain physical evidence that characterize the speech of São Luís, in particular the variations of F0, duration and intensity are measured, it is also verified its performance in the discrimination of the intonational modalities neutral declarative and total interrogative. The results show that, at F0, it pointed upward movement in the pretonic and descending in the tonic for the neutral declarative sentences and upward movement in the tonic for the total interrogative sentences, the duration showed similar production time between the modalities and the intensity presented irrelevant behavior to distinguish the intonational modalities.
