| Sumario: | The judicial response to the resolution of conflicts is the most expressive means to resolve conflicts. Access to the Judiciary is a constitutional guarantee and it can also be exercised by needy people, through the Public Defender's Office, of acting in their own name, under the terms of the Special Courts law, but also through a private lawyer such as pro bono, which is the private lawyer who acts for free. The study aimed to research and discourse on the importance of Full and Free Justice to the underprivileged in the form of the Law, to identify the fundamental role of the Public Defender in assisting the neediest, as well as the Role of lawyers when there was no Defender whose importance continues until nowadays, because even with the advent of the creation of Public Defenders, the lawyer has the right to provide free legal assistance in pro bono cases, which is the focus of the study. The study was developed through a deductive method, based on exploratory bibliographic research in legislation, books and public data. Among the main considerations, it was noted the importance of free and full legal assistance for the legal defense of the most needy and also the importance and the role of the private lawyer in pro bono practice. The importance of the work of the Public Defender's Office and the possibility of the jurisdiction acting in his own name, under the terms of Law 9,099 / 95, were also demonstrated. |
