| Resumo: | Racial dynamics go through an intense and constant process of reconfiguration. In view of this, old questions return to the intellectual debate from new perspectives. Thus, based on an analysis that begins with Walter Benjamin's critique of modernity and leads to the repercussions within digital colonialism, this article proposes an analysis of the new clothes that colonialism wears in the web 4.0 era, dressed up by algorithms and permeated by capitalism, which since its earliest days has as its objective the expropriation of man by man himself, with profit being its purpose. Later, we will present the colonial process as a preponderant factor for what we understand today as algorithmic racism. Namely, racism only exists because capitalism exists. |
