| Sumario: | This article analyzes representations on candomblé poetic expressions in TV Bahia’s audiovisual journalistic narratives, which diffuse ways of seeing and thinking, thus updating religious syncretism as a cultural phenomenon typical of Bahia. These are ideas that rework the dominant thought of denial of class and racial social relations and promote popular culture as a party, not in the sense of manifestations and festive expressions that are part of the Afro-Brazilian culture, but only as a record of events. |
