Descripción
Sumario:This article aims to present an analysis of Resolution CNE/CP no. 2/2019 (Brazilian National Curriculum for Teacher Education, BNC-Formação – acronym in Portuguese) and the struggle for its repeal at the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR). This Resolution is understood as a measure of centralization and flexibilization of the curriculum for teaching degree programs, proposed by the corporate movement based on guidelines from the multilateral bodies of imperialism (Freitas, 2018; Leher, 1999). The study used the historical-dialectical materialism method, through which the epistemological foundations of this Resolution were examined, along with a documentary analysis in UNIR's deliberative bodies and the actions of the faculty movement. The Resolution replaces broad-based education with basic training, aimed at meeting market-oriented and technocratic assumptions. The resistance movement at UNIR secured the approval of Decision Act 7/2022 by the Academic Superior Council, opposing the implementation of the Resolution.
