Sumario:This study aims to investigate a comic book product from the intermediality perspective. It aims to observe intermediality aspects in Yellow Submarine, which became a graphic novel fifty years after it had been transformed into a movie. A comparison of both works focusing on the comics production is relevant to understand the translating process demanded to adapt the media involved. Studying intermediality between movies and literature is one of the great areas of filmic adaptation and a relevant field within Audiovisual Translation. This article also provides a didactic model for using this kind of study in the teaching context.
