| Sumario: | The characteristics of Port Community Systems (PCS) affect how collaboration between players in the port community is established. The digitalization made in terminals, within the scope of the PCS, has fostered the development of horizontal collaboration in the port community. Access to relevant data and information creates opportunities for new business models for the port community. Through the analysis carried out in this study, we concluded that the implementation of a Physical Internet can take decades, but the change in the services provided by the PCS is configuring a change in mentality from Isolated Supply Chains to Open Supply Chains, promoting the Physical Internet. |
