Sumario:This essay discusses the growing mental illness of graduate students in Brazil as an expression of the intensification of the exploitation of capitalism in recent decades. Therefore, in addition to mobilizing the bibliography on the subject, they are research elements of research carried out with this segment. It seeks to show how the academic space expresses, albeit with mediations, capitalist exploitation and how this process has affected the health of graduate students.
