Descripción
Sumario:This article presents a set of historical antecedents through which it is possible to reflect, understand and explain the conflicting process of spontaneous occupation of private lands that occurred in the northeast of the province of Misiones, Argentina, at the end of the 20th century. The main premise that guides the research states that the conflicts caused by spontaneous occupation are the product of the complex network of social relations that existed between the projects for the creation of colonies in the late 19th century and the transformations in the social and agricultural structure that occurred during the period. 20th century. The empirical reference that supports the research consists of a selection of interviews conducted with rural producers who occupy land at different times in the field experience.
