Sumario:"The Republic of Yemen is located at the tip of the Arabian Peninsula. Its estimated population in 2016 was 27.5 million people, of whom 47 per cent (12.9 million) were under 18 years old and 15 per cent (4 million) were under 5. Yemen's Human Development Index (0.482) is the second lowest in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, after Djibouti. Escalating conflict has driven the country into a severe humanitarian crisis. It is estimated that more than 20 million people need humanitarian assistance, including 11.3 million children". (...)
