| Resumo: | The teaching of the concepts of geology and geomorphology in education is of great importance for the understanding of spatial processes, but the basics related to these sciences are more complex, requiring a major concern of teachers with the content of Physical Geography. And one of the most pressing concerns of educators regarding the need to teach physical geography in a context that considers the students’ reality. From this perspective the students have more interest in this area and learn the content in a way that feels like part of the process of teaching and learning. Thus, it is necessary that research within this proposal are to be valued in order to create the largest possible number of data and information that can be used in schools. Accordingly, this article sought to make some considerations about the basics of geology and geomorphology in an attempt to provide a theoretical basis that can help teachers do Norte de Minas to teach physical geography from the reality of the region. |
