| Sumario: | With the increasing urbanization, studies related to Smart Cities seek to develop innovative solutions to minimize urban problems, and consequently provide a better quality of life for citizens and society. This applied research aimed to propose an Information Modeling process, necessary to support indicative parameters for the design of Smart Cities scenarios, with the use of open data on traffic accidents, available on the Belo Horizonte city hall (PBH) website . The research approach is mixed, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The research showed the relevance of the information extracted, managed and analyzed for society, coming from open data, as well as the opportunities for the contribution of different specialties in the field of public administration. |
