description This paper aims to analyse the influence of the territory on political organisation of United Kingdom, particularly from the perspective of its withdrawal from European Union, through the process that became known as Brexit, which had as relevant cause the immigration process. This paper starts from the configuration of the United Kingdom as a State, and the sequence studies the way in which the United Kingdom became a member of the European Union until its effective exit of the State from the European bloc. Finally, the research deals with the effects that withdrawal will create on the territory of the United Kingdom. The work emphasizes the aspects on the Scottish separatist movement, the Irish boarders and the immigration. The paper works on the historical-deductive method from the concepts to apply them on the case. The results of the research indicate that que causes of the Brexit will not be eliminated with the Brexit, so the United Kingdom will face a challenge in keeping its territorial unity.

Se aborda el tema desde la configuración del Reino Unido como Estado, luego se estudia la forma en que se incorporó a la Unión Europea hasta su salida efectiva del bloque europeo. Por último, se trata de los efectos de la retirada sobre la configuración del territorio del Reino Unido. La obra enfatiza aspectos relacionados con el movimiento separatista escocés, la frontera irlandesa y la inmigración. El método utilizado fue la historia deductiva, que parte de los conceptos para su aplicación al caso. Los resultados de la encuesta indican que los problemas que guiaron el Brexit no se eliminaron con el Brexit, lo que denota que el Reino Unido enfrentará un desafío para mantener su unidad territorial.O presente artigo objetiva analisar a influência do espaço na organização política do Reino Unido, especialmente, sob a perspectiva da sua retirada da União Europeia, mediante o processo que ficou conhecido como Brexit, que possuiu como causa relevante a imigração. A temática é abordada a partir da configuração do Reino Unido como Estado, em sequência estuda a maneira pela qual se tornou membro da União Europeia até sua efetiva saída do bloco europeu. Ocupa-se, por fim, dos efeitos da retirada para a configuração do território do Reino Unido. O trabalho enfatiza os aspectos concernentes ao movimento separatista escocês, à fronteira entre as Irlandas e à imigração. O método utilizado foi o histórico dedutivo, que parte dos conceitos para sua aplicação ao caso.
