Descripción
Sumario:This text addresses the concepts that permeate remote education introduced as an emergency measure by the closing of Brazilian schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The investigation is in its initial phase and composes the dissertation project, which aims to understand the access to online classes for children and young people in situations of social vulnerability. This is a bibliographical survey, based on authors who highlight the inequalities in education during the closing period of school institutions. In this scenario, Brazil became the country that remained in this condition for the longest time, in which a large portion of the population, belonging to classes D and E, did not have access to technological resources or did not have the knowledge to use them efficiently. In view of these aspects, added to interrupted learning, poor nutrition, unprepared parents, gaps in child care, social isolation, and increased school dropout rates, demonstrate the negative impacts of the lack of continuity in the teaching process. Thus, the lack of public policies aimed at the access of all students to education according to the right present in the Federal Constitution of 1988 was evident.
