Descripción
Sumario:This work aims to analyze the use of images by Theodor de Bry in the teaching of History of America in the seventh grade of elementary school. Considering, first, the use of these images as a historical source in the textbook. Paying attention to the approaches present in this material, in different periods, the question that is asked is how these images are being used in the study of the History of America, taking into account the current research on the subject, the search for an education unrelated to the narrative which is configured on a European perspective - through the official education documents that govern the preparation of didactic material- and the use of images as a teaching tool.
