Sumario:Abstract The main aim of this paper is to analyze the importance of the role played by the judiciary in resolving international cases in which it is necessary to apply a gender perspective and how, through their rueles, they collaborate in the fulfillment of the goals of SDG 5. In doing so, the paper will proceed to preliminarily consider the importance of the gender perspective as an analytical category, and then focus on the importance of its use by those who carry out the administration of justice. For an analysis of the specific case, the starting point is Argentine case law on the international child abduction, which has been resolved in different ways, identifing wheter the courts’ approach is base don a gender perspective.
